KATUSHA on Armchair General's "Stuff We Like"! Katusha Tumblr launches with 21 page preview

Armchair General Magazine profiled Wayne Vansant’s KATUSHA, GIRL SOLDIER OF THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR in their “Stuff We Like” column on July 26.  The prestigious magazine of military history wrote: “Writer and graphic artist Wayne Vansant has carved out a distinct niche for himself with his well-researched, concisely written books of military history presented in comic book / graphic novel format. We’ve reviewed two on this website, Gettysburg and Normandy. Some of his early work was with Marvel Comics on the widely acclaimed series The ‘Nam. Vansant served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Recently, Armchair General received word of two sites that give readers a chance to investigate for themselves the first 20 pages of his new series, Katusha, Girl Soldier of the Great Patriotic War. We strongly recommend you check them out.” Also last week launched the official Katusha Tumblr at katushagirlsoldier.tumblr.com.  The launch includes a 21 page preview KATUSHA BOOK ONE: EDGE OF DARKNESS (on sale NOW).  Future updates to the Katusha Tumblr and Facebook pages will include notes, drawings, and photos by Wayne Vansant on the creation of the graphic novel series and his travels in Ukraine conducting research, and a preview of the upcoming KATUSHA BOOK TWO: THE SHAKING OF THE EARTH, featuring Katusha’s induction into the world of tank combat.
