Stories by Roy & Dann Thomas Art by Ron Harris ALTER EGO, first published in 1986, is a super-hero comic that salutes the great super-heroes of the 1930s & 1940s – the “Golden Age” of American comics. When Rob Lindsay discovers a mysterious mask that transports him across dimensions to a world where comic book characters are living, breathing human beings, a legend is reborn and “Alter Ego Lives!” Roy Thomas, one of the foremost experts on the Golden Age of comics pays tribute to those early heroes in this four part series. In 1961, he assisted Dr. Jerry Bails in launching the first super-hero fanzine, Alter-Ego. Inspired to use that same name for a super-hero, Thomas, with co-writer Dann Thomas and artist Ron Harris, created the four part tribute to the Golden Age of comics presented here. Links:
