In September, Panini France will release three magazines packaged by GDC’s Magazine Packaging Services. GDC continues to work on two of the world’s most famous licensed properties, contributing translation, localization, and new puzzles, games, and other supplemental material to Panini’s Galaxie Star Wars #2 and Univers Pokemon #2.
BoosterMag, GDC’s newest 100% packaged magazine covering all the worlds of the fantastic and “geek culture” with an emphasis on Collectable Card Games and other kinds of games, is back on French shelves in September with a special hors-serie (“out of series”, or a one-shot) issue, BoosterMag Hors-serie #1. Subtitled “the magazine of cards and games”, this special issue features a Pokemon cover, along with a special Pokemon poster and features on the long-running anime and CCG property. As with many children’s magazines in Europe, a special “gift” is included with each magazine, including packs of Pokemon cards in BoosterMag.
